How do you target a city when a roofer serves many towns?
Most roofers are service-area businesses. The office may sit in one town while crews work across several. That shapes the plan. Google says local results rely mainly on relevance, distance and prominence, and prominence draws on information from across the web, including links and articles. So the places that mention you should match the places you serve.
Start by listing the towns that bring real jobs, not every town on the map. Choose one main city or county to push first. Then decide which of your pages should receive links: the home page, a roof repair or replacement page, or a page written for one service area. Spreading thin across ten towns at once usually makes the plan weaker, not stronger.
Climate gives you natural local angles. Hail, heavy snow, wind, heat and humidity all affect roofing in different regions, and articles on those topics read as local without any forced wording.
